Inspired by societies’ need for documenting our lives with pictures, ALU LIGHTBOARD is used in the latest Karl Lagerfeld IKONIK windows in London and Munich to display the FW 2015 collection. Using the latest LED technology, LIGHTBOARD illuminates an image of Karl taking a photo, recognizable through Karl’s signature gloves, black attire and styled hair.
An individual LIGHTBOARD system puts the black and white image of Karl on full display, creating depth in the window and directing the passerby’s focus to the window’s center.
Whether passing by or stopping to take a glance, ALU helps Karl showcase his brand’s POV, highlighting the communicative power of creative imagery.
